Weifang Folk Sports In Mining And Protection Of The Research

Folk sports are not only an important part of modern sports, but also a valuable asset in the traditional Chinese folk culture. It has great significance for the development of traditional culture to collect and organize folk sports. In modern society, sports have gradually come into people’s lives. Folk sports which were formed and developed in the social production and people’s lives have a closer relationship with people. With the continuous deepening of the national fitness activities, folk sports, rooted in masses, should act the role as body-building and culture-inheriting. This thesis collects and preliminary analyzes Weifang folk sports in order to provide a reference for the Weifang folk sports heritage and development as well as a reference for other cities.Many experts and scholars have studied folk sports from the point of view of folklore, sports education, etc, and they have also gotten constructive results. Through a lot of documents reading, investigation and logical analysis, on the basis of previous studies, this thesis analyzes Weifang’s folk sports, and explores its features and functions as well as the difficulties it faced now; and proposes a solution to make the folk sports play a better role in achieving national fitness.This thesis collected and analyzed more than twenty folk sports in Weifang. Its folk sports can be broadly divided into:the holiday folk sport, the competitive folk sport, the traditional folk martial arts, the intelligence-competing folk sport, as well as the children’s sport. Wei fang folk sports have the following characteristics:regional, competitive, body-building, dependent, entertaining, and inheriting. The functions of Wei fang folk sports:the aesthetic function of folk art, the entertaining fitness function, the educational function, the cultural inheriting function, and the sports cultural tourism resources function.This thesis explains the heritage and development of Wei fang folk sports from the following aspects:1.From the re-creation of sports and redesign of certain elements, this thesis fully explores the value of folk sports and make it better meet the social development and people’s needs.2.Introduce the folk sports into classroom and add it to the curriculum. It is better to develop the folk sports in order to atone for the lack of sports facilities.3.The introduction to community sports is good at solving the contradiction between lack of sports facilities and sports simplicity as well as plays an important role in building a harmonious community.4.The participating, entertaining and customary features make folk sports tourism resources. The development of folk sports tourism resources is good for the local construction and increases the local income.
