Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasure Of Lacking Sports Etiquette In Competitive Sports Events

Competitive sports events and sports etiquette are indispensable important parts of sports culture. Sports etiquette in Competitive sports refers that in sports events with morality as its core, it presents fair competition, self-discipline and respect of others’ code of conduct and norm according to certain rules and procedures. It is an important sign of the sports civilization. However, in recent years, with the continuous development of competitive sports and the increasing competitions exchanges, the lacking of etiquette about sports also gradually increased. These phenomena on lacking of sports etiquette have caused bad influence and harm to the carrying-on of normal competitive sports events, the good development of competitive sports as well as social culture construction. This research, using the methods of literature material and case analysis, summarized the meaning of sports etiquette, elaborated the missing behaviors classification of sports events etiquette, subject classification, analyzed the reason and harm of missing etiquette in competitive sports events, and put forward relevant suggestions aiming to provide certain theoretical basis and relevant clues on the further study of competitive sports events etiquette, sportsmanship and good social culture construction. This research is divided into the following sections:The first part is Introduction which mainly introduces the basis and meaning of the topic of this thesis, limits about its relevant ideas and the present situation of this research.The second part is the researched thing and method. The research studied the phenomenon about missing of sports etiquette in competitive sports events by the way of literature-material method and case study.The third part is the present situation of the missing sport etiquettes in competitive sports events. It starts to classify the behaviors of missing sports etiquette in competitive sports events. Then it classifies people of different behaviors.The fourth part is an analysis on the reasons of the missing sport etiquettes in competitive sports events. This part contains nine aspects:the derivation of core-value in the development of competitive sports events; the over-commercialization, professionalization and politicization development of competitive sports events; the missing culture etiquette of athletes; the serious lacking of etiquette education (lacking of etiquette education in family, in school and in society); vulnerabilities of rules of the sport system and lag of sports legal construction; the characteristics of Competitive sports and lacking of knowledge on the sports competition rules and etiquette.The fifth part is the harm of lacking sport etiquettes to society including harm to the normal carrying-on of competitive sports events, to the development of competitive sports events and to the better construction of social culture environment.The sixth part is suggestions. It contains four aspects:strengthening professional and moral education, intensifying the organization and management of competitive sports events, perfecting the whole legal system of sports education and enhancing sports etiquette education.
