In recent30years, information technology course in primary and secondary schools has developed from the computer course to the IT course, from a elective to a required course for now and has been opened from in the developed areas to all country. It can be seen from the rate of development of IT education in primary and secondary school that the government has gradually paid more attention to IT education. More than30years can make a person reach his peak._But30years later, to explore the front is still a long way for China’s IT education. To avoid detouring, we need keep learning.In the context of the national emphasis on IT education, this thesis used China and the United States primary and secondary IT education as a research object, and want to look for some experience that our country can learn from the United States at this stage by compared with bilateral primary and secondary IT curriculum system and a number of issues.The first Chapter describes the research background and significance of the study, reviews the research status of the IT education at home and abroad, and further introduces the content and method of this paper. The second chapter, through the comparison of the various dimensions of the Sino-US curriculum standards, found that U.S. students’ information literacy is much larger than China, and given direction for China’s Next IT curriculum reform. The third chapter, through comparison of setting up of IT courses between the two countries t, describes although the differences of the two countries’IT courses, but the overall form of the set is the same. The fourth Chapter, describes through comparison of the evaluation way of bilateral IT courses, the summative evaluation of the course is to examine problem-solving ability and the Settings form is also a model of a realistic scenario. After the end of the evaluation, the evaluation will provide a more detailed analysis report for students to guide the development of students late. The fifth Chapter, describes through comparison of the solutions to "digital divide" and "IT teacher training",new ideas can be find to solve the same problems in China. The last chapter summarizes this thesis and point out the further research.This thesis is a part of IT education in China and United States comparison, the results and inspiration of comparison hope to be helpful for IT curriculum reform and the future direction of development in primary and secondary school.
