Open Teaching of English Writing in senior high school English teaching plays a very important role in English teaching field. It not only can help the students to review and reinforce and flexible use of knowledge, but also can promote students’ quick observation, diligent in thinking. A foreign language overall quality and comprehensive ability the best embodiment is the English writing, but the current situation is not optimistic. The author has been engaged in high school English Teaching for decades, and found that many high school students are full of fear of emotion, and their interest, writing quality is low when writing.How to improve the students’ writing level and to promote the teaching of writing in English teaching is an urgent problem. In this paper, the author takes the middle school students’English writing problems as the major breakthrough, trying to find out how to improve English writing teaching and improve students’ English writing level optimal methods and ways.The author starts from the open composition teaching theory, clarifying the definition of open English composition teaching, guiding principles, as well as the open composition teaching roles. That is to say:students in open class play a main role while teachers in open composition class play a leading role. Through empirically derived open composition teaching methods, such as writing stories, English debate method, peer assessment method, this article also discusses in the high school English composition teaching in the implementation of open English teaching necessity and feasibility. And the author takes all students of Class118and Class an example, and compares the open English teaching training mode and traditional writing training methods. It turns out that open composition teaching methods can broaden students’ view, broaden the students’ thinking, improve the cultivation of students’ comprehensive quality, and also improve the use of English and the ability to express.This paper is linked to the actual process of teaching students in writing, confusion, according to the teaching of English writing process teaching theory, through the preparation of stories, English debate, student peer review and open teaching method, demonstration in high school English Teaching of composition teaching in the implementation of open English teaching necessity and feasibility. Open Teaching of English Writing in senior high school English teaching not only can stimulate students’ interest in English writing, it can develop the cultivation of students’ autonomous learning and creative thinking ability as well. How to improve the level of writing, is more in line with the spirit of the new curriculum. At the same time, on the open teaching of writing tasks and on students’ writing evaluation scheme and strategy are also discussed, to adhere to the combination of students’ cognitive characteristics of open composition teaching, which enables students to develop students’ innovation spirit.
