Acculturation is a learning process in which an individual had some culture contact with other culture directly and continuedly. In this process, people would use different strategies which is Acculturation Strategies. More and more foreign students had studied in China for the past few years, the problem they had faced became important for the researchers. For a long time some researchers had focused on Acculturation which is the first problem that these international students faced, but there is no Acculturative strategies questionnaire which is suit to Chinese culture and there is little research about the reasons.The study includes two parts. Firstly, we use exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, analysis of reliability and validity to revise foreign Acculturative Strategies questionnaire for the International Students. Testing shows that the reliability and validity are both well, meeting the psychometric requirements. Secondly, we use the revised Acculturative Strategies questionnaire. Culture Intelligent scale, self-esteem scale and satisfaction of life questionnaire, measuring378students from different countries. The purpose of this study is to survey the Acculturative strategies situation and its influencing factors, and further explore the relationship among Acculturative strategies, Culture Intelligent and self-esteem. The results are as follows:1. The reliability and validity of the revised Acculturative strategies questionnaire for International Students had met the requirements of surveying.2. Acculturative strategies would not vary significantly with gender, age and the time they stay in China.3. Acculturative strategies would vary significantly with the Countries (state) of cadastral, subject, whether she or he had Chinese friends, the degree of Chinese culture identifying, the degree of Chinese language skill, the kind of language in daily life.4. Cultural Intelligent would vary significantly with the Countries (state) of cadastral and the kind of language in daily life.5. Acculturative strategies vary significantly with the degree of Cultural Intelligent.6. The Self-esteem have significant positive correlation with Cultural Intelligent and marginalization strategy, and have negative correlation with integration strategy.7. The Self-esteem plays a partly mediating role between Acculturative strategies and Cultural Intelligent.8. Acculturative strategies was the positive predictor of Satisfaction with Life Index.
