College culture isthe important component of the advanced culture of socialism. Under the times backgroundof deepening cultural system reform, promoting the great cultural development and prosperityof socialism, constructing powerful cultural nation of socialism, all these will be essential forcolleges to cultivate students, such as how to strengthen college cultural construction,improve college cultural soft power, cultivate college spirit, build cultural campus, strengthenand better the quality education of college students, help students establish scientific andcorrect world views, philosophy, values and moral values, cultivate the compound talentswith firm belief, high ideological quality, rich scientific and cultural knowledge, innovativeconsciousness and strong practical ability.The author of this thesis studies systematically the theoretical connotation of the culturalcampus and practice construction from multi-perspectives---Marxist philosophy, higherpedagogy, educational culture and cultural sociology，etc and systematically describes theconnotation, characteristics, functions, principles and aims of the college cultural campus onthe base of the current quality education for college students, and attempts to put forwardcreatively the cultural strategies and practical methods on the students’ quality education inthe aspect of practice, and together with the methods and measures of strengthening andimproving the students’ quality education.In Chapter One, the theoretical connotation of the cultural campus construction andpractice construction are described, and the concept of “culture” and “cultural campus” aredefined.
