Secondary vocational education is not only an important part of our national education but also an important foundation for China’s economic and social development. The party and the country have always attached great importance to the development of secondary vocational education. Particularly in recent years, the countries have a range of policies, measures to promote the development of secondary vocational education. Since2005, the state policies and funding for secondary vocational education have been tilted, the implementation of a series of preferential policies for funding vocational students is to speed up the development of secondary vocational education. Guangxi as the larger province of southwest China, has been attached great importance to the secondary vocational education funding, and has initially established a secondary vocational student financial assistance system for Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. However, in the funding work at the same time there are some problems to be discussed.In this study, based on the Guangxi region’s secondary vocational schools, which are conducted a questionnaire survey and interviews with relevant personnel, from the average funding, the funding policy implementation and the evaluation and analysis of current vocational funding policies, got a comprehensive understanding of the overall condition of the secondary vocational schools funded work, and found the Guangxi secondary vocational education funding exist uneven allocation of funds, inadequacies in the way of funding, single source of funds, and cumbersome procedures of grant applications. In order to solve the above problems, this paper recommends that: First of all, we should devote greater efforts to gradually promote various secondary vocational schools for funding equalization; Secondly, to promote institution building, and improve finance-related laws and regulations; again, to further improve funding system, follow the principle of both fairness and incentives; Finally, expand funding financing channels, form a multi-party involved funding mechanism of government, social organizations, and individuals.
