Under The Background Of Modern Rural Salar Religious Life

This paper focused on traditional Imamu village of Xun hua county of Qing hai province which has profound Islamic culture and the Sala people are living in. Recorded the Sala people how to keep their feature of religious culture in such a long history and go down to now in continuous variance. Especially, since the policies of opening and reform, based on the modernization, this region’s religious culture settings, religious administration, religious education and the conception of every religious group all received which kind of influence and how to change.The author believes that the traditional Sala people already got a considerable variance from the process of modernization. At this stage, with connecting the outside world,the Sala people’s idea of Islamic group in their religious life, the functions of masjids and the administration systems of masjids have been changed significantly,process of marriages and ceremony also have been changed, Islamic education was declined.How to stick and preach the faith, how to play the roles of masjids perfectly, how to keep the stability of the administration systems of masjids and how to reform the traditional Islamic education method; This paper will try to express author’s own idea about the above with using some relative methods with the science of religion and the humanity. All discussions in the paper are divided in four parts:The first chapter is the part of general situations, it introduced the Sala people’s main conditions from the aspects of race source, name of race, population distribution and language; roughly introduced the conditions of Xun hua Sala autonomous county which is the Sala people are living in mainly and also made introductions for Imamu village from four aspects of its geography, history, population and the methods of planned parenthood.The second chapter is the conception and experience of the Islam in the Imamu village. Firstly made discussion for the problem of Islamic group in the Imamu village, secondly discussed the place of Islamic activities by taking the masjids and graveyards as representative, thirdly made descriptions for the religious workers, finally discussed heritages and variance of the authorities of the village by taking the modernization as its background.The third chapter is about the Islamic behaviors and systems of the Imamu village. Firstly discussed the main religious activities, secondly made analysis for the economy of the masjids, and did some researches for the weddings and funerals,and in the end discussed the education of the Imamu village.Conclusion:with the opening and reform policy and the developing the west strategy, the regions which the Sala people are living in are influenced by the economy of market, population flowing, common customs, education, ect, a lot of aspects changed while keeping the stability of the village. With The interactions between the national authorities and the religious authorities, the tendency of the problem of the religious group, the declining and reforming of the Islamic education will be urgent problem which the Sala people’s religious activities will face in the future, so it means a lot to do more research about it.
