With the rapid development of economic and the continuous improvement of people’s income level in China, lifestyle has having great change."Lifestyle disease" has cropped up, such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, especially increasing obesity ratio of children and adolescents has become the major issues facing society today as a typical representative of students’ physical health status decline. General obesity and central obesity evaluation system for our children and adolescents still continue to explore and improve. Body mass index (BMI) and waist circumference (WC), they are better in reflecting the situation of obesity. This paper use a variety of ways to conduct empirical research, including mathematical statistical analysis, test of physical health and lifestyle surveys, to help build the scientific screening criteria and analyze intrinsic relationship between obesity and lifestyle, physical. It can be to improve disease prevention and health promotion effect. Chinese school-age children Waist appropriate cutoff point has been reported. But there still be not to have research for Chinese children waist cutoff point with BMI of China Obesity Task Group to develop standards as a benchmark. This article aims to understand childhood waist normal distribution, analyze and validate waist circumference cutoff points for overweight and obesity. It will provide reference for the establishment of the waist circumference of Chinese children and adolescents overweight and obesity screening standards. In this study, reference populations are463students for6to11years from Shanghai No.2Normal School Primary School. This paper combines with children’s BMI, WC and body fat ratio data using the LMS method, the ROC curve method to analyze and verify children waist overweight and obesity cutoff point. This paper Obtain children BMI and waist circumference cutoff point distribution and LMS curve in P3, P5, P10, P15, P25, P50, P75, P85, P90, P95, and P97for6to11years students in each age group boys and girls with. About the correlation coefficient between BMI and waist circumference, boys and girls are generally above0.7, having a strong relationship. About area under ROC curve, on overweight level of BMI, male and female area is smaller; on obesity level of BMI, male and female area is generally above0.7, being good diagnostic validity. But they are not totally consistent with Chinese scholars the conclusions to P75and P90as the of waist overweight and obesity cutoff points. This study analysis similarities and differences in physical health and living habits between normal and obese group of BMI, Furthermore analysis of the two hidden inner relationship, by physical fitness tests and questionnaire. For children’s physical health status, this paper has a test for children in body shape (height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference), physical fitness (flexibility, lower extremity strength, power) and body composition (percentage body fat, lean body mass, basal metabolic rate). Then, contrast similarities and differences of the normal group and the obese children in the various indicators; For the habits and customs of children, this paper mainly questionnaire survey on "daily habit","Sports","eating habits" and "food intake", several major aspects. Combined survey data with various physical indicators, this study find its intrinsic correlation by mathematical statistics.
