With the development and practice of “Two stage of curriculumreform”, teaching behaviour is getting increasing focus. Politics coursesin secondary schools, as one of the main channels in education, is acourse to teach citizen morality and Marx senses to studentssystematically, which is key in the “Two stage of curriculum reform”.Whether teachers can put the educating philosophy into the classroombehaviour is critical for the success of the reformation. This dissertationlooks into the course of Politics and combines the philosophy ofShanghai “Two stage of curriculum reform” in order to study the currentsituation of the class behaviour of political course teachers in secondaryschools. It also provides recommendation for improvement base on thestudy. This dissertation will refer to the classification of teachingbehaviour proposed by Prof.Liangfang Shi, Chinese expert in coursingstudy. The study on the teaching behaviour in classroom of secondaryschool teachers is based on empirical study, which includes surveys onstudents and interviews with politics teachers in secondary schools. Thisstudy is mainly focused on students, and the perspectives towardsteaching behaviours in classrooms of secondary school teachers ofstudents and teachers are studied, compared and analyzed, fromwhich to find out potential problems. From the study, it is found that ithas been a success, in some extent, in the reformation of currentteaching behaviour in classroom of politics teachers in secondaryschools, while there are still some problems existing. Based on theproblems for the teaching behaviours, politics teachers are suggestedto go deeply through the teaching materials and effectively combinethe course contents to improve the effectiveness;need to consider thecurrent phase of development of students thoroughly when setting thetheoretical depth and increase the difficulties appropriately; the preparation of the topics and themes should be closely related tocurrent politics in the society; the frequency for questioning should beincreased in classes, and the questions should be relevant to theteaching contents and life experience of students,etc.
