With the deepening of New Curriculum Reform, more and moreteachers find that just relying on the a textbook and simply teachingaccording to the textbook are not suitable for the idea of the NewCurriculum Reform, which do not meet the requirements of thedevelopment of modern teaching. The New Curriculum Reform require"students oriented" teaching, which asks teachers to advocate to theall-round development of students. Students should learn how to learn.This set a higher demand for teachers’ teaching. Teachers will no longerbe teachers who only know teaching, but to become a researcherand creator who pay attention to the difference of the students. So therole of teachers has changed thoroughly. Teachers should improve theirteaching abilities according to the needs of students. From this point,re-development of textbooks is very important.This kind of ability is one of the key factors in teachers teachingqualities. Therefore, this essay that studies re-development of textbooksis on the basis of the current condition of the teachers’ re-developmentof textbooks. I try to analyze the problems and find the reasons to putforward to improving classroom teaching.This essay is mainly divided into three parts:The first part including the introduction and the chapter onediscusses the background of the new curriculum, the importance ofre-development of textbooks, the purpose and significance, thecontent, the method and relevant concept definition.The second part including the chapter two and three mainlydiscusses the theoretical basis and related research. It also discusses theessence and meaning of re-development of textbooks.The third part including the chapter four and five studies thecondition and analyse problems. And it is proposed to improving teachers re-development of textbooks ability.
