The needed talents for the modern society must have extensive deep theoretical knowledge, and own the ability of putting the theories into practice. The middle school education is the important period of forming students’ ability. Scientific thinking ability is a strong guidance in the process of the students’ growing. Through thinking, people can know all kinds of things those without direct influences on people, and also can predict the process of things’ development. Students learn the creative thinking which will make students benefit from study and daily life in future.In order to break through the limitations of current students’ practical activities, we should improve the material conditions of practice. What’s more, it is to explore the suitable physical teaching mode for practice in classroom. Teachers must create appropriate teaching situations and relies on suitable teaching platform. The study levels of students need timely feedback, and try to avoid the interference from technical difficulties. The different teaching situations will make for students deeply understanding and mastering what they have learnt.Physics is an experimental science. Experimental teaching is not only the foundation of physics teaching, but also the important channel to form students the rigorous scientific attitude, practical scientific style and an effective means of training students to have the spirit of exploration. Modern education advocates students to learn independently and cooperatively, and experimental teaching just reflects that, which accords with students’ psychological characteristics and cognitive rule, and which has played a very important role in cultivating students’ innovative thinking ability.In this paper, the purpose is to investigate what influence the cultivation of innovative thinking ability will have on junior middle school physics teaching. The main method used in this study is the experiment method, pretest and aftertest in the same number of students, and make the pretest physics scores compared with the aftertest scores. After the experiment, there is a physical innovative ability test between the experimental class and the comparative class. Also the methods are aided by investigation, statistics and so on, to make the research methods of the experiment process measurable and operative. The test sample is randomly assigned two equal parallel classes in Grade Eight in Tianjin No.54Middle School, randomly selected thirty students in each class, and half are boys and half are girls. There is no significant difference between two classes’pretest scores and learning ability. Select Class A as experiment class, and Class B as the comparative classes.Through the class experiment teaching model, the innovative ability of experimental class’ students has a certain degree of ascension. It is shown in students’being good at bringing up new physical problems and not relying on the ready-made solutions and the thoughts from other people. It can cooperate with class teaching content, through students doing the experiments by themselves to explore and obtain knowledge; therefore, they can get the fulfillment of solving problems. It is helpful to train students’ innovative thinking ability.The results of the study show that:In the Junior Middle School, physics teaching pays attention to cultivating students’ innovative thinking ability, which has a positive effect on teaching. And experimental teaching mode has improved students’creative thinking ability, and which is advantageous in raising students’independent thinking ability and practice ability, also in motivating students’studying interests in physics, in enhancing students’learning initiative and enthusiasm of physics and students’physics scores.In the whole experiment process, mutual exchange, teachers and students communicate, inspirit and complement with each other, each other, and they share their thoughts, experiences, knowledge and emotions, in order to enrich the teaching content and look for new development. Meanwhile, the class experiment teaching mode increases the diversity and richness of the physics teaching process, which focuses on mastering methods, actively exploring knowledge and cultivating students’innovative thinking ability. Therefore, this study has certain practical significance for the physical new curriculum reform and the quality education.
