Nowadays,innovation is the soul of social progress and development,and the key to building an innovative society is to cultivate innovative talents.Education undertakes the important task of cultivating talented people with innovative thinking.Therefore,it is important to cultivate students' innovative thinking in the process of teaching.Primary and secondary school stage is an important stage of laying the foundation of a person's thinking ability.Therefore,how to cultivate students'innovative thinking in primary and secondary education is currently an important issue for education researchers.In recent years,with the development and popularization of digital science technology and open source hardware,open source hardware has been widely used in teaching activities as an innovative thinking tool.Based on the analysis of teaching status of open source hardware courses in primary and middle schools in our country,combining with the relevant theories of innovative education,activity curriculum theory,project learning method,and etc,choosing raspberry pi as the open source hardware teaching platform,this paper will design and develop raspberry pi courses that fosters students' innovative thinking.In order to verify the rationality and feasibility of the raspberry pi courses that designed by the author and its impact on students' innovative thinking,this research takes the sixth grade students of the primary school affiliated to Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications as the research object,and completes the specific teaching practice.When the teaching practice of raspberry pi courses is finished,through the analysis of the collected questionnaire data and students works,we can evaluate the changes of students in innovative thinking after learning the raspberry school courses.The results showed that the raspberry pi courses designed and developed by this research have a certain improvement in the students' innovative thinking,especially in imagination and the spirit of adventure,and students have greatly improved their hands-on and teamwork skills.This research attempts to cultivate students' innovative thinking by using open source hardware in teaching,which provides a practical basis for the follow-up study of open source hardware course and innovative thinking cultivation.
