In recent years, with the rapid popularization of the Internet, the interaction of various social thoughts, the constant awareness of social public interests, as well as the social interior warming up during the China’s social transformation period, the boundaries of the reality society and the virtual network society become blurred, increasinglyThe interactions of the reality society and the virtual network society not only give the Contemporary Youth Ideological and Political Education opportunities to innovate and develop, but also bring concussion and challenges on the youth ideological and political education.If we don’t think of the direction of Contemporary Youth Ideological and Political Education through promptly and effectively making full use of the platform provided by Internet, from the view of Internet and youth’s special relationship, the Contemporary Youth Ideological and Political Education in network society will be quite weak, especially the youth grow up in the special cultural policy environment. In the environment they are active in thinking; they are easy to accept the new things and new thoughts. However they lack of rational thinking, so their thinking and behaviors often show considerable uncertainty and they lack of some qualitative. Based on the analysis of contemporary youth’s psychological characteristics and network and the harmony of the contemporary youth psychological foundation, I will actively discuss the new problems responding to the Contemporary Youth Ideological and Political Education in the background of network society.This thesis is developed by reading the relevant literature, questioning survey, launching the analysis and the elaboration and so on. The writer hopes that it benefits to the Contemporary Youth Ideological and Political Education at the new stage. This thesis consists of three parts.The first part mainly explains the basic meanings of the network,contemporary youth, the youth’s psychological characteristics; introduces the current scale of China’s Internet users, analyzes the importance of the network for contemporary young people’s ideological and political education. The popularity of the network leads to the network society. At the same time, the characteristics of the network agree to the contemporary youth psychology, so the contemporary youth’s ideological and political education is related to the network.The second part discusses the significant meanings of the network society’s coming, mainly from the subjectivity of ideological and political education, the objectivity of ideological and political education, the ways of ideological and political education and the culture of ideological and political education. In this part the author thinks the network society mainly from a number of network events, popular network culture, network economy’s development and other views. The author founds that the network has importance on the education of youths on four aspects, that is:, to the subjectivity of the ideological and political education; to the youths’ideology, values, thoughts, behaviors and so on.At last, the writer points out that the youth ideological and political education is facing new opportunities and current youth ideological and political education work exists some disadvantages.The third part is about some constructive thinking and analyzing. Responding to the second part of the Contemporary Youth Ideological and political education work’s new situation, new problems.Then based on the originally existing deficiency,this part explores the Ideological and Political Education and gives some methods of Ideological and political education including:making full use of the network to provide education platform, improving the contemporary young people’s media literacy, integrating the environment of Ideological and Political Education in several aspects.At last the author puts forward some relevant measures.
