| With basic education reform going deeply, the school-based teacher education ofsecondary and primary school teachers has become the focus of teacher educationresearch and hot topics, which arouses the concern of many scholars. However, whichof the rural does not. The school-based teacher education of rural secondary andprimary school teachers is not only the only way to improve the professional quality,but also to achieve the balance of urban and rural education. It is also a important stepto promote the modernization of rural education.It shows that establishing learning organization is not only one of importantmeans but also an object for school-based teacher education. Hereby, throughgrasping the related meaning, characteristic and the underground about learningorganization theory and school-based teacher education, we make a study of theirrelationship. On the basis, according to the specific practice about the management ofschool-based teacher education, we put forward to an organization model on ruralschool-based teacher education from the view of learning organization theory. Themodel is aimed at guiding teachers to learn by themselves to go beyond themselves; Itcan create a free and fair environment for study in the origination and representmutual prospect; In the process, it can motivate communication and promote themental model; it also need the study-team to boost teachers to enjoy the knowledgetogether, establish the structure and reflect it.In this article, we consider the model of rural school-based teacher education asour analytical framework. The methods we used include investigations, interviewliterature search and so on. We select some schools in Huarong, Hunan Province asour sample to analyze the current situation on rural school-based teacher education.Besides, it revealed kinds of problems. According the existing problems, we gave ourreasonable explanation. Through the ideology of learning organization theory, wethink the following strategy is needed to promote the situation at present: first, showthe respect for different individual to establish the blueprint of rural teachers. Second,organize cooperative study to form a study-team for rural teachers. Third, showimportance to the developmental evaluation to promote teachers to go beyondthemselves. Fourth, inosculate the modern knowledge and individual knowledge toimprove the mental model of rural teachers. Last, improve the differential and compensatory policy to establish the system for rural school-based teacher education. |
