Martial arts is the treasure of Chinese traditional culture, is the people continue to class struggle and the various production struggle practice, is a national forms of sports activities. Martial arts from the age, gender, location, seasonal restrictions, movement is convenient and flexible, if can often martial arts, can make the body gets more comprehensive exercise, to enhance physical fitness and development speed, endurance, agility, strength and other physical quality also has very good effect. Through the college martial arts teaching, so that students master the martial arts routines and Wushu basic skill, enhances the student physique, but also carry forward the traditional culture of the Chinese nation, cultivate lifelong exercise habit. Therefore, by the majority of the students like.In recent years, most of Guangxi province colleges and universities Wushu elective course, which is no doubt the Chinese Wushu culture, promote the development of Chinese Wushu has a positive role. But there are also many reasons which restrict its development, such as:teaching conditions are simple, the teaching method is simple, martial arts teacher shortage, martial art examination evaluation is not reasonable, especially the contents of teaching materials, and single students want to learn Wushu has a gap, students and not through the Wushu course, learn to their own expect to learn martial arts, long-term since students on Wushu Course lost interest, and even changed the original charm of martial arts in the mind. In this paper, the Guangxi province university martial arts curriculum present situation were investigated, analyzed and discussed, using the method of questionnaire, literature method, interview method, data analysis and other research methods, Guangxi Province University Wushu teaching contents, teaching methods and means, teachers, students on Wushu Course in one one analysis and research through research, to change the current Guangxi Province universities Wushu curriculum present situation, and puts forward the corresponding measures, in order to change the teaching situation, so as to better carry out the important theoretical basis of Wushu Teaching in colleges.Conclusion:(1) the current students on Wushu has a superficial understanding.(2) Wushu teachers lack of qualified teachers.
