The research focused on the emotional experience of middle school students whotook part in the extracurricular counseling.It was taken through the questionnaire andinterview method base on Guandzhou XueDa Education Institution.Based on the Bloom’s taxonomy and David Krath Wohl’s theory,and the researchof professor Lu Jiamei,the questionnaires were set into3components,Each of whichcompiled in10assignment-context of five-point Likert scale,which were evaluatedand amendmented by the instructor and classmates.The finally questionnaire wasforecasted and had good reliability and validity. The questionnaires were taken on sixlearning centers which were selected from14learning centers of the GuandzhouXueDa Education institution.After that,six students were interviewed.The results were as follows:the emotional experience of middle school studentswho took part in the extracurricular counseling with difference grade and gender weresignificantly different. On the component of mutual happy,the girls’mean was greaterthan the boys’,the junior students’mean was greater than the senior students’. Theemotional experience was significantly different with the total time of having been tothe institution and the number of times a week to the institution, it showed that the3components of the minimum appeared in “2to4months” and the maximum appearedin“3times or more a week”.On the purpose of choosing to participate inextracurricular counseling,omitting the lowest proportion,the3components’ mean ofthe voluntary was significantly greater than the parents demanded’mean.There was amoderate intensity connection between the two will and the3components.Theinterview results showed the middle school students who took part in heextracurricular counseling was influenced by the poor study,the competition pressure,the family cause and the individual psychological.It is reasonable for the existence of the extracurricular counseling institutions.Butit should not be relied on,and should be identified rationally.In this research,threesuggestions were put forward to the parents:foster independence of emotional when achild was young, scan the extracurricular counseling correctly and choice itrationally,and educate the children with school,institutions and family.The institutionsshould build files of the emotional experience for students and targeted exchange with them.
