In2010, the World Cup held on the continent ofAfrica for the first time, which brings a special meaning to the African and peoplearound the world. As the largest single circulation in China’s professional sportsnewspaper, Sports Weekly is also the only FIFA China media, which has a widerange of reading the crowd and a huge influence. For this the combination of theresearch undoubtedly is valuable.In the report of the2010World Cup, Sports Weekly integrated newspapers,television, mobile phones, Internet and other communication platform, a full rangeof text, images, video and other multi-angle coverage of the2010World Cup inSouth Africa, sweeping operational capacity of the media.This paper used the case study research method, the literature material methodand content analysis and other methods, to classify and statistics75period SportsWeekly, trying to from a new perspective, to make a analysis and interpretation ofthe reported mode of the Sports Weekly.
