The object of this paper is analyzing the64games by32teams participated in the2010World Cup in South Africa. Use of literature, video observation of statistical method, mathematical statistics, expert interviews, comparative analysis, the FIFA official record of the data and recording statistical information as the main basis, by analyzing all kinds of factors that affect attack power of32teams, conclusions as the following:(1) scoring factorsRelevant factors of the attack force, the goal is accomplished through the penalty area assists, and positioning the ball to score is big influencing factors can not be ignored.(2) offensive factorsThere is higher proportion of shooting attack by wing attack, which can be judged, wing attack in modern football has become a major offensive mode.(3)Passing and ball control rate factorsMore quick and accurate passing have been used to organize the attack, and delicated mid-range passing is especially popular. By analyzing number of various types of passes and number of successes, as well as the success rate, between each rank group strong team control the whole game by improving the quality of passing, then result in controlling the offensive initiation. In addition, higher ranking team possess ball more than the lower ranking team. So it is obvious that the possession rate is indispensable influencing factor as regards the team’s offensive capability.(4) ability to run factorsIn this world cup, based on the fraquency of running with and without ball, there are more runs without ball than runs with ball. This result reflects the basic rules of football. In addition, in the high level of competition, the teams must be capable of certain level of running. It also proved by the fact that the Spanish team who won the championship ran the most distance among all the teams.(5) steals the ball factorIn the analysis of stealing the ball factor, on one hand the strong team pay great attention to steal the ball with the attempt to attack. At the same time the team as a whole to tackle, turns the passive to active. Steal the ball is very important act to launch quick counter-attack.(6)Tactics factorsit is very important tactical standard to evaluate attacking capability of a team by using rapid counter-attack tactics. First16teams in this world cup are very frequently using this tactics. It has very high success rate and great attack effect. It launched most from the midfield, followed by the backcourt launch, least by front court. Moreover, stronger team are better than relatively weak team in number and effect of using of rapid counter-attack tactics, which also confirmed that it is an indispensable standard of evaluation of a team.Suggestions:1. The south Africa World Cup provides us with a very rare experience, especially in terms of offensive affect factor, it very objectively explained the basic law of modern hig level of football matches. Learning from these laws, we have a better understanding of the development trend of modern football, change the concept of football training, improve by training, keep up with the advanced country’s teams.2. Attack power evaluation index system proposed in this study, quantitative evaluation profiling to ensure a relatively comprehensive evaluation, and has the features easier to master and apply. But invisible qualitative evaluation (such as the psychological factors of the athletes during the race, etc.) is difficult to evaluate. Therefore, it is recommended to use the process of evaluation index system proposed in this study, it is more reasonable to combine the coaches, the researchers own experience with other qualitative evaluation standard.
