Research On The Origin And The Inheritance Of The Beijing Liuhe Boxing

It spreads in many part of our country, which is the Liuhe Boxing. Theteachers who teach Liuhe boxing specially are in Beijing, Cangzhou, Botou,Fujian, Shenzheng etc. Liuhe boxing of Botou is one of the third group of theintangible cultural heritage in National ministry of culture since June2011.This paper looked up a large number of literatures. And the author didfurther research in the regional such as Botou, Beijing where Liuhe boxinghad carried out. The materialist dialectics is the guiding ideology in thispaper. It had identification, preparation by screening, inductive analysisfor this paper in line with the principle of bold, carefully. The paper tryto clear the development of area of Beijing Liuhe boxing, time and charactersof boxing, style characteristics, the theory of technique, inheritancedevelopment, etc. The article used literature data method, questionnaire andon-the-spot investigation method, the method of oral history and logicanalysis in order to achieve the goal which is the defining of concept of Liuheboxing,analysis of the historical origin Liuhe boxing、the difference betweenLiuhe boxing and Xinyiliuhe boxing Xingyi boxing and Yiquan boxing、thetechnology style characteristics of Liuhe boxing, the pedigree analysis ofLiuhe boxing inheritance and the detailed introduction of inheritance people,etc. The paper analysis the inheritance significance and value of Beijingliuhe boxing from many aspects to make such conclusions:1. Liuhe boxing originated in the Botou, based Liuhe theory of Chineseculture, martial art of far and long strike as the core as the basic content,unique a set of martial actions, fighting, practice guidelines as the mainform of exercise a traditional martial arts.2. Liuhe boxing had developed maturely before Zhang Ming pass boxing onCaoZhenpeng in Botou. We can speculate liuhe boxing should be formed in thetime period which was the Ming dynasty in Jiajing had the records of Liuheqiang.MaYuqing mentioned that Beijing Liuhe boxing consistented with shaolin Liuheboxing and WanLaisheng liuhe in data of Beijing Liuhe boxing declarationintangible cultural heritage. It was questionabled. 3. The Liuhe in Liuhe boxing is basic theory of xingyiliuhe, xingyi andyi boxing. It was recorded in “liuheboxing” which was written in qing periodfor wushu. Liuhe boxing is the first of all in records.4. The external manifestations of the Beijing Liuhe boxing is boxing,kicking, and joint exercises with spears and cudgels, the inner containspractical combat and fitness function, and the ability of internal andexternal forces as one. Teaching area there are five major regions: TheZizhuyuan Park, Qingta area, region of You’anmen, Niujie area, Miyun region.The course content not only boxing and traditional martial arts routine, butalso on training and a variety of weapons, as well as the body’s internalpractice exercises.5. Beijing Liuhe boxing faced similar problems with other boxings, unclearrecords、less theory. Lacking of people who have theory and technology limitsthe further development for Liuhe boxing. Liuhe boxing of Beijing has alreadybeen the intangible cultural heritage in Beijing. But it is difficult to applyfor the national intangible cultural heritage. By the way, it is feasible tospread on the way of internationalization.6. It is not optimistic about the development of Beijing Liuhe boxingcompared with other boxing. It spreads in some parks in Beijing. It transmitsmainly by family and inheriting without corresponding training schools andfull-time teachers. Most people make Liuhe boxing as an amateur interest totreat rather than a career.
