Currently the traditional teaching method, such as blackboard, cannotfulfill the requirements than people need lots of info and update the infoquickly. The leaning management system usually provide pre-definedknowledge, it is not helpful for people to update the knowledge and selfstudying. So personal learning environment comes out. PLE provides largeamount of tools and services for users for self studying. It will greatlyimprove the learning efficiency. At the same time, PLE also has disadvantages,users usually will feel puzzled when they have lots of tools and services tochoose to use. Teachers will also have the problems that they don’t have theprocess to get the feedback of students during learning.This paper presents a solution to analyze the students’ activities in PLE,and provide feedback of the students learning status. The solution usesdirected graph to analyze the students’ activities then visualize the feedbackwith an improved and more intuitive way.This visualization tool is being used in Network Education College ofShanghai Jiaotong University. It is proved to be useful for teachers inNetwork Education College of Shanghai Jiaotong University to get feedbackof students during learning. In the interview of the teachers, we also getsuggestions for future work.
