The Study On The Construction Of Communism Faith Of Contemporary College Students

Faith is the trust and worship in some ideals and beliefs of individuals, and regardedas the criterion of their behaviour as well as value judgment. Nowadays, with thedeepening of China’s reform and opening up and the strengthening trend of the regionalpolitical and economic integration in the world, a variety of values and ideological trendsof many countries are competing intensively, which leads to the great impact on thecontemporary college students’ communism faith. To study the present situation incommunism faith of contemporary college students and explore the ways to theconstruction of their communism faith has great significance in enriching the theoreticalsystem of faith and the Marxism theory treasure-house as well as constructing theadvanced culture with Chinese characteristics, it is also an important task to reform andinnovate the construction work of the college students’ faith, to train the constructiontalented person with firm political positions and solid quality in order to carry forward theconstruction with Chinese characteristics in all aspects scientifically.In this thesis, the author mainly adopts the methods of Literature research, Surveyresearch as well as Systems research, on the basis of elaborating the basic theory systemof faith and communism faith as well as surveying the present situation of faith of anumber of the undergraduates and postgraduates in Yanshan University, the authoranalyses their faith’s mainstream and tributary changes, believes that their faith stream ispositive and healthy, but there is also the phenomenon of communism faith deficiencyamong some students. The author further analyses the reasons of this phenomenon andexplores the ways to promoting the construction of communism faith of contemporarycollege students.Through the study, the author considers to promote the construction of thecontemporary college students’ communism faith is a comprehensive system engineering,we should take great pains in some ways as follows: First of all, we should uphold theleadship of The Core Socialist Values System and develop our social economy, whichcould lay the thought and material foundations for the construction of college students’ communism faith; secondly, we should innovate the mode of faith education of university,improve the quality of family faith education and play their initiative of the collegestudents’ faith education, which could provide the scientific carriers for the construction ofcollege students’ communism faith; finally, we should build domestic good environmentof politics and strengthen the supervision of net environment, which could provide theenvironment safeguards for the construction of college students’ communism faith.
