As we know, all the time, scholars both home and abroad have done a lot of researchand exploration on grammar teaching. It shows that English grammar, the frame ofEnglish, is necessary to teach. Nowadays, under the new development (new curriculumreform and new college entrance examination) in China, the NCR(New CurriculumReform) can be seen as a chance for those who devote more to the senior Englishgrammar teaching and NCEE(New College Entrance Examination). The foreignteaching mode should fit for China’s teaching environment. The NCR and the NCEEbring some changes to the senior English grammar teaching. We should take somesuitable methods and strategies to adjust the reform.I will take the multiple choice of NCCE as a case study, studying the specificchanges of contents and methods both at home and abroad before the NCR in order tochange the senior grammar teaching methods and strategies.Basing on the emotionalteaching and communicative strategies,to explore the effects which the NCCE brings tothe senior English grammar teaching,and draw a conclusion of some problems duringthe teaching. Summing up some principles,strategies,methods from the aspects ofstudents according to the communicative teaching strategy, the research come to thefollowing results:Firstly, the senior English teaching must follow the principles of times, practical,intensive; secondly, the new senior English teaching can take four strategies, such ascontextual and emotional strategies; thirdly, according to the aspects of students’ needsand final learning aim to get five specific methods to help students have a clear attitude,form a good learning habit, and develop the content of grammar and so on.In short, the changes of CEE ask for the reform of senior English grammar teaching.Under the NCR and NCEE, if the senior English grammar teaching adapted to thechanges of CEE, we will achieve a better teaching effect.
