With development of reform and enlargement scale, higher education increasinglya major concern on its quality. The direct way of measuring pedagogic quality is theinstruction assessment. As the basic constituents consisting of the pedagogic assessmentuniversity-wide, classroom instruction assessment must be attached to much moreimportance. It is proved that an advanced and quantitative pedagogic assessment is ofgreat significance to the deepening of pedagogic reform and improving of classroomteaching system in pedagogy.Firstly, according to the status quo of the pedagogic assessment adopted byuniversities, fuzzy theory,the analytic hierarchy process and entropy are chosen bysummarizing and reviewing the related theories. Based on the principle of establishingfuzzy assessment system and the analytic hierarchy process, an assessment model isconstructed for quality of classroom instruction at universities in which both experts andstudents are involved. Moreover, the model is testified and applied to experiment.Secondly, by means of MATLAB software, the technique of SPC is used in theassessment of university classroom instruction, control charts of pedagogic quality canthus be drawn. As a result, the concept of monitoring the teaching process is advanced,and software for pedagogic quality assessment is developed.The results indicate that The pedagogic assessment and monitoring can be a modeladopted to be Promoted.
