| Parents high expectations to their children and work pressure result in a heavy academicpressure in the children’s shoulders so that it make children feel overwhelmed and exhaustedphysically and mentally, thus ignoring the fact that the physical fitness of students is graduallydeclining. It will be a major hidden peril to the future society. In order to promote thesustainable development of school physical education comprehensively in the new situationand make efforts to improve the health of young students, the country issued A Decision ToCarry Out Hundreds Of Millions Of Students Nationwide Sunshine Sports in December23,2006. And then the state has adopted a series of policies and regulations of the landmark toattract most young students to walk into the playground and nature and make them activelyparticipate in physical exercise in the sun. With the carrying out of the Sunshine Sports, howto implement the Sunshine Sports has become the major theoretical and practical issues thatneed to be addressed.Taking Langfang middle school PE teachers, students and parents as surveying objectand using different methods named questionnaire, literature, visit and mathematical statisticsetc. The thesis investigated the situation of the carryig out of the Sunshine Sports in LangfangSchools, analyzed the factors restricting the development and developed a policy to promotethe Sunshine Sports, combining character of Langfang humanism. The results showed that:1. since Sunshine Sports has been carried out, the implementation of most schools areideal, one week to ensure two physical education took the percentage of80%in high school,middle school (87.5%) is better than high school, low-grade in middle school carried outbetter than the higher grades; but some schools’ situation needs to be improved, in theseschools the extra-curricular sports activities take up only1.73%in high school and only15.25%in middle school every day. It can not meet the requirements of an hour activities ofa day.2.53.2%of high school students lack sports knowledge,5.1%of middle schoolstudents close to the state of ignorance. Insight on the the sunlight sports and school sportswork spirit is not accurate enough, and sports injuries solution to the problem is worrying. 3. The professional quality and spiritual cultivation of part of the school physicaleducation teachers needs to be improved. There are a lot of factors affecte the Sunshine SportsCampaign such as the old-fashioned sports activities, the lack of space, equipment aging, lackof security to activity time and a single recess activities.4.20%students,50%of parents and11.11%of the teachers did not pay enough attentionto the Sunshine Sports. They ignored the role of physical exercise which is to enhancephysical fitness, to protect their health and to regulate learning pressure.Conclusion:1. The implementation of Sunshine Sports in Langfang City Schools developed a goodsports atmosphere of public opinion and a high level of student favorite.2. Some schools didn’t give enough publicity to Sunshine Sports. Some schools did notunderstand the Sunshine Sports in-depth and the publicity work is not in place.3. Most students have good attitude, motivation and interest in sports. A lot of problemssuch as school funding, venues, equipment, projects and safety of physical activity, thestudents’ daily routine, and whether the PE teachers can receive a fair and equitable treatmentaffected the smooth development of the Sunshine Sports in Langfang.4. The launching of the Sunshine Sports mainly focused on the school campus, and toomuch focus on the sports class resulted in the lower quality and lower utilization of exercise.It cannot fully meet the requirements that students should take part in activities at least onehour every day.5. The survey found that the majority of students, parents, and teachers hold anoptimistic attitude toward the long-term development of Sunshine Sports in Langfang CityMiddle School. |
