Chinese And Foreign Men’s Basketball Pass And Catch Technique By Comparative Analysis

With the improvement of competitive level of the modern basketball, the ever-changingtactics, the increase in height and speed, especially the usage of the aggressive defense, whichmakes the competing of the right of the basketball is white-hot. Role as a pass-catchingbasketball technology has also been referred to an important position. In this study, byobserving the statistics of the15th world championships and the29th Olympic Games andChina’s men’s basketball game against all the foreign men pass and catching a comparativeanalysis of technology to identify the Chinese team’s lack of pass-catching techniques andadvantage, in order to provide a theoretical reference to raise the overall level of basketballfor our country.In this paper, the literature, video observation statistics, expert interviews, DelphiMethod, as well as mathematical statistics are used. Quantitative researches are used on thetechnology of pass-catching basketball in the Chinese and foreign basketball games. Andcomparative analysis of Chinese and foreign is held. Results of the study as follows:1.The way of passing basketball with two hands is much more than the opponents.However, the way with one hand is less than the opponents. Chinese team is taking advantageof arc in passing the basketball. Chinese team is less than the opponents in the straight linepassing. There is a wide gap with passing ability and broken line between Chinese and foreign;Chinese basketball team is much more than foreign team with passing placement in a over hishead. Chinese basketball team is much more than foreign team with passing placement on thechest. Chinese basketball team is almost the same as foreign with passing placement belowthe waist and the belly.2.The number of passing basketballs is more than the opponents outside the three-pointsregional and less than the opponents inside the three-points regional. There is a wide gapbetween Chinese men’s basketball and foreign on the ability of passing basketballs inside thethree-points regional. There is a wide gap between Chinese men’s basketball and foreign onthe ability of passing basketballs from restricted area of defense to the area of the three-points.The number of passing basketball is more than the opponents in the defense.3.The number of catching basketball off the opponents is more than the foreign. The ability ofindividual catching basketball off the opponents is almost the same. The ability of catchingbasketballs is much less than the foreign with the help of his companion. There is not muchdifference with the opponents on the convergence movements after catching the basketball.However, the offensive ability is less than the opponent. after catching the basketball. 4.The number of assists is less than the opponents, but is taking the advantage outside thethree-points when attacking. Besides, the number of assists is less than the opponents.Especially when passing basketball to the inside Chinese is obviously less than the opponents.The number of assists passing basketball over the head with two hands is taking advantages.But assists in other ways are passing behind the opponent.5.The number of errors is more than the opponent when passing basketball. There is a widegap to the ability of scoring points taking advantage of the mistakes of the opponent; Theerrors of passing basketball with hands across their chests, hands and head with one handchest is more than the opponent, but less in the restricted area. And mistakes in the otherregions were more than the opponent, especially outside the three-points area, more errorssignificantly.6.There is a wide gap on the ability of passing basketball inside between Chinese Men’sBasketball Team and the foreign.
