There are varieties of women images on the TV ads. in the modern society in China. However, there is still a law we could track behind the complicated images. The women images in TV ad. are based on4kinds of fundamental images, including the’understanding wife and loving mother’,the’vocational white collar’, the’fresh students’and also the’Glamour girl’, and the final image became the result of these4kinds of images’combination,which is the’general Glamour girl’. At the meantime, these different images’formation appear one after another. Therefore, this thesis aim at finding the cause of these4kinds images’formation to discuss and do a research on the constitution process of the women images in society, through the example analyzing and the feminism aspect. The starting point of the TV ad. is1980s,the same as the times of’the understanding wife and loving mother’image’s appearance. Therefore, the thesis also put the start point in the1980s.One purpose of the research is to analyze these images including the time of their appearance,their visual character and relevant female policy, the status of women,self awareness of women and the influence on women from social trends.Followed by mentioned thinking, this thesis is divided into4parts. From the introduction, the writer would make a clarify of the reasons of choosing these research questions, the academic history overview, and some problems need to deal with.In Chapterl,the writer would discuss the relationship of social women and the contribution of the’the understanding wife and loving mother’image in the times of the end of the cultural revolution and the beginning of reform and opening up in China. In Chapter2,the writer would discuss the influence on the’vocational white collar’image which based on the reform of the economic system and the education factors.From the Chapter3&4, the writer would focus on discussing the influence on contributing the’Fresh students’image which made by’Korean shows crazy’and also the impact on the’Glamour girl’and’general Glamour girl’images’formation which made by women consumption.In the epilogue, the writer made a conclusion in the contribution on processing and the general features, which related to the women images from modern TV ads,trying to summarize the relevant factors which contribute the images, and put up the women’s own development situation and the related social overview.
