Based on the relevant theories of Educational Technology such as theAttention Principles, Motivation Principles, Learning Principles and Attitude-changePrinciples of Instructional Message Design Theory, this essay takes the new hireOrientation courseware of Citi Bank (China) Co.,Ltd as an example, analyze the existingproblems and revise to improve the training effect. The original version is found to becrowded page arrangement, lacking in remarkable tag, content outline, redundant coursecontent, case study, review and summary, as well as questions and answers. The essay thencomes up with eight suggestions including to display by pages, to use graphics with text, tohighlight the key words, to use the directory outline, to reduce the extra content, to arrangeinstructors with high reputation, to add the summary, to focus on questions and answerssession. Moreover, the author has put the courseware of updated version into practice.After the comparison research, the updated one is proved to be more effective in improvinglearning efficiency. The creativity of the essay is to integrate the Message Design Theoriesof Educational Technology into the Enterprise Training so as to improve the training. Theresearch can be applied to the new hire orientation in the second quarter of the year.
