In recent years,based on multimedia learning environment,the learning process and learning outcomes of the research is the important theme in EducationTechnology field. Richard-Mayer is a famous international education psychologist,for many years has devoted to multimedia learning research,in a large number of theoretical exploration and empirical research, based on dual coding theory based on cognitive load theory and constructivist learning theory,proposed Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning ang the Principle of Multimedia Learning.This theory and principle for the teaching design provides a new guideline。 Our specialists and scholars in reference to the research results of the Meyer, but also for the theory in our localization and the suitable teaching environment of the exploration.In this paper, the research methods and meyer for reference on the basis of research achievements, combining the domestic many experts and scholars on the related theory of multimedia learning thoughts and results from multimedia cognitive theory, redundancy theory, perceptions theory and activity theory based on redundancy extracts the principle of design strategy of multimedia learning activities in design strategy, under the guidance of the design case of multimedia information design principle, the principle of the redundancy in the localization of verification, trying to teaching practice inspection hypothesis. The research process, in addition to explore the screen text multimedia courseware whether belongs to the redundant information, but also focus on the individual differences of learners study ability and knowledge to experience, perceived preference and redundancy principle of empirical study whether significant correlation.This paper main methods of documentation and questionnaire, interview and case study through the domestic and international research, the research achievements of system analysis and summary of the principle based on redundancy, the design scheme of the multimedia learning activities for windload. This study proposed the principle based on redundancy of the multimedia learning activities, rich multimedia design strategy of mathematics learning activity design theory. In the study we learned that:in the multimedia learning environment, while learning contents, screen text difficulty generally belongs to the redundant information, learning environment, the study contents, learner individual differences, spreading way and the channels of information is redundant, in addition, also influence on learners’ previous knowledge through experience, ability to learn, perceived preference and redundancy principle, the study found the correlation for different individual characteristics to the learners learning environment, the redundant information under the demand is also vary from person to person, this is we design the multimedia teaching information provides guidance the present.
