Although the development of science and technology is very rapid, global ecologicalcrisis as following has been threading to human survival and development, and therelationship between man and nature has reached to the edge of danger. Kind to nature andreturn to nature have become the inevitable trend of human action. The primary condition forthe harmonious coexistence of human beings and nature and sustainable development is to atthe nature in a proper way and establish a correct view of nature. The citizens, face to thefuture, need to learn not only knowledge and skills of their own development, but also to lovenature, to establish a correct view of nature. In A one-hundred year strategy of a nation,education is the most important basic. As students are the successor of the times, thecultivation of students’ view of nature is particularly important. This paper, for the above as astarting point, explores the issues related to the view of nature, and also research on thecultivation of students’ view of nature in high school physics teaching.In this paper, we use the literature analysis method and case studies method. Firstly, wesummarize the relevant knowledge of our study, and on the basis of that, we build the theoryfor our research topic. Secondly, designing of the physical teaching cases in order to cultivatethe high school students’ view of nature, and teaching cases for analysis. Finally, we come tothe conclusion from theoretical analysis and case studies, and thus make some practicalsuggestions from the physics curriculum resources, the curriculum teaching methods, thedesign of the physical textbook, student assessment, teachers’ literacy.The core of our study is build the theory for cultivating students’ view of nature in highschool physics teaching, including the definition of the view of nature, the structure andhistory of the view of nature, students’ view of nature, physics teaching and the cultivation ofthe view of nature and teaching cases for analysis. At last, combining the theoretical analysisand case studies together, we make some suggestions for the cultivation of the high schoolstudents’ view of nature, and give some enlightenment for physics teaching from both thetheoretical and practical aspects at the same time.
