Speech is a teacher’s basic means of communicating with students. Evaluating students is a good way to monitor their motivation and progress. Making good use of classroom evaluation language should be one of the basic skills a teacher possesses. Time management skills are another necessity teachers must be able to utilize to help students learn to their full potentials. But, with the exception of teachers who have a lot of teaching experience, most teachers aren’t good at using appropriate language to evaluate the students in time. They don’t think and research the problem enough. With the introduction of the new Chinese course curriculum, teachers have begun to value the evaluation. Teachers have begun to pay more attention to students’feedback. We hope the evaluation will increase students’learning interest and enthusiasm. However, there are still areas, such as arts, languages and sciences, where this system of acquiring student feedback still lacks. The role of student evaluations can not be ignored as it might affect their future. The right classroom evaluation can create a productive atmosphere. The contact between teacher and students must be closer in order to spark interests in students, form good thought quality, lead to a positive environment and help students know right from wrong. So, further study of student evaluations is imperative to teachers. The author will present his research according to the following framework. First we should think about evaluation concepts, characteristics, types and roles. Then, he will investigate and analyze evaluating problems and causes. Through the analysis of the research, we aim to reach the best possible classroom environment and teaching strategies we can. The author concludes with a summary of effective classroom evaluations and helps teachers to improve their teaching using these evaluations.
