Chemistry is a subject based on experiments, and it is also an important sign differentfrom other disciplines. Chemical experiment plays an important role in the development ofchemistry and the process of the chemistry teaching. the new chemistry curriculum reformclearly stated,“the fundamental purpose of the chemistry curriculum is to improve students‘scientific literacy’ chemistry”“chemistry experiments take extremely important role inimproving students’ scientific literacy” but also the "teachers in the teaching of the coursemodules should strengthen the chemistry experiment and combined with the modulecharacteristics "“Carry out experiments to explore activities actively”. Promulgation of newcurriculum standards has been nine years since2003, most provinces of the country have beenimplementing the new curriculum. In the implementation of chemistry new curriculum course,experiment teaching situation directly related to the students’ practical ability and innovativeconsciousness; determines the students interested in chemistry and changes their sciencelearning style, ultimately affect the quality of teaching of basic chemistry education.This thesis is based on the new curriculum philosophy and constructivist theory,regarding the high school chemistry experiment were investigated.The thesis adopts textanalysis method,literature method, questionnaire survey method.the main target of theinvestigation is the Changchun City, a Normal Schools freshmen Chemical Freshmen, theyhave finished high school chemistry curriculum, the high school chemistry experiment withthe implementation of a more complete understanding. The investigation content includes thesource of students in chemistry experiment; understanding; high school chemistry experimentteaching; high school chemistry experiment study and most impressive experimental highschool.From the survey we can found that, although the requirements of the new curriculumstandards for chemical experiments have changed a lot, but in the practice of teaching highschool chemistry experiments, we found that many high schools were difficult in accordancewith the implementation of the curriculum standards. The survey found that the main problemin the implementation of the senior high school chemistry experiment are: lack ofunderstanding of the chemistry experiment, chemistry experiments underutilization ofresources, chemical experiment teaching content, teaching methods and teaching evaluationof a single, not taking into account the personality development of students and a number ofrecommendations to address the problem.Aiming at the problems existing in the teaching of chemical experiment, this paperfinally puts forward the following countermeasures: to change the traditional teaching concept,training students’ scientific literacy in chemistry experiment equipment; increase investment,make full use of resources on the chemistry experiment; chemistry teaching content selection,stimulates the student to study the interest of chemistry; single change in chemical experimentteaching mode, fully embody the students’ personality development; strengthen theexperimental teaching evaluation, standardization of experimental test.
