The Strategies Analysis In The Course Of Civil Society To Interact With Government

With the deepening national economic and political reform as well as growing diverse needs of the residents, the civil society then booming rise, But as they were born in folk, the inherent inadequacy leads to lack of resources for organizational survival. This lead to the organization has to acquire survival resources from outside. However, when they got resources from outside world, especially from the government, the organization’s autonomy was vulnerable to affected by the government’s will. So, how can civil society acquire resources from the outside world, especially the government and at the same time maintain the organization’s largest autonomy? Based on this, we conducted a case study on a CA organization in Shanghai, and take the structure and action repeated mutual as the view angle. We analyze in every stage of the civil society, it chooses what strategies to get resources and maintaining organizational autonomy. The study found that, in the nascent stage, virtual public space utilization can get the legitimate existence of the organization; and during the development stage, conform and avoidance strategy can help organizations maintain stable survival period as well as corresponding autonomy; in the mature stage, the strategy of cooperation and interaction enables organizations realize ideal autonomous existence. Through the mature strategies analysis, so as to provide strategies to those social societies who are still struggling in dilemma.
