Research On The Core Value Of Socialist System Leading The Construction Of Campus Culture

“Decision on Some Important Historical Issues of Building Socialist HarmoniousSociety” which is adopted by The6th Plenary Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee ofthe Communist Party of China，is going to get the socialist core value system integrate intothe national education and spiritual civilization with the purpose of building a socialistharmonious culture. The campus culture is a sub-culture of social cultural; its constructionmust accept the leading of the socialist core value system, and it has an important significanceto solve the problems faced by the current campus culture construction process.Now, our universities have attached great importance to the construction of campusculture to improve the educational level. Over all, our campus culture construction is healthyand positive, but with the in-depth development of the market economy and the profoundchanges brought by globalization, the foreign culture and values have brought impact toChinese traditional culture and values on different degrees. In this situation, the constructionof university campus culture needs an urgent guidance of the socialist core value system. Theconnection between the college campus culture and the socialist core value system is that theconstruction of university campus culture under the guidance of the socialist core valuesystem is not only to promote campus cultural development and reinforce college students’ideological and political education, but also the need that the whole society practicing thesocialist core value system. And the paths of socialist core value system leading the campusculture construction are: Adhering to the guiding position of Marxism to ensure CampusCultural Construction in the right direction；using Chinese characteristics to construct theCommon Ideal of Socialism；promoting the comprehensive development of university campusculture and cultivating the national spirit as well as the spirit of the times; improving thecohesion and creativity of the university campus culture；carrying forward the SocialistConcept of Honor and Disgrace and strengthening the moral foundation of the campus cultureconstruction. In addition, colleges and universities should also build the mechanism ofsocialist core value system leading the campus culture construction in order to build a healthy,civilized, harmonious and advanced campus culture.
