English learning strategy has been wised concerned by educational psychology andlinguistic, and the language learning strategy is one of the most active fields in SLA.Although there are many studies in English learning strategy, it is still not enough on juniormiddle school students, This study is based on the research of English learning study fromthe international and domestic academics. Through questionnaire survey to probe into thestatus and characteristics of junior middle school English learning strategies and the impactof strategy consciousness and feeling on English learning, to improve the quality andefficiency of English learning strategy.Through the literature method and solicit opinions from the specialists, combine withthe existing research results, development two questionnaires of "Junior Middle SchoolStudent’s English Learning Strategy" included meta-cognitive strategy、cognitive strategy、emotion/social strategy. and “Consciousness and Feeling to English Strategy of JuniorMiddle School Students” included Consciousness to English Strategy and Feeling EnglishStrategy. select740junior middle school students from6middle school by clustersampling. The results as follows:(1) The overall situation of junior middle school English learning strategy is not idealon the whole, and the strategy consciousness and feeling get middle level. Cognitivestrategies get the highest points, followed by meta-cognitive strategies, and affective/socialstrategies.(2) There are significant differences between genders, the girls mastered strategiesbetter than that of boys; The students use less strategies when they become older, mainly inthe aspect of media-assisted strategies, affective strategy and social strategy. Among them,social strategy decreases more obviously.(3) The level of the school teaching is significant effect the strategy scores, students in the higher-quality teaching school may possess more and better strategies. And the studentsin the low-quality teaching school are particularly short of meta-cognitive strategies whichhelp them self-government and self-control.(4) The interaction of school levels and grades on strategy consciousness and feelingare significant, the students get the higher points with age in low-quality teaching school,and leveling out when they get grade3.(5) There are directly affection of strategy consciousness and feeling on the use ofEnglish learning.
