Education is the fundament for the development of a nation. The pursuit of high-quality and effective education becomes common in modern international society. To realize high-quality and effective education finally lies in high-quality and effective teaching and classrooms, and teacher is the key to improve the quality of classroom teaching. Therefore, the growth of teachers’professional level and teachers themselves has become essential to improve the quality of education. Teachers’growth process is the process to improve their abilities in classroom teaching, and the core and the key to promote of teachers’classroom teaching ability lies in the improvement of teachers’ teaching practice ability. Teachers’ professional life is loosely related to teaching practice, and their professional development is also based on teaching practice. Teaching practice is not only the starting point of teachers’ professional development, but also the direct and real power to promote teachers’ professional development, for it directly reflects intrinsic demand, knowledge level and development vision of teachers’ professional development.As a kind of teaching practice, effective teaching and teachers’ professional development are mutually promoted and blended to each other. Effective teaching practice requires teachers have a certain professional level, at the same time it can make teachers grasp real and applicable professional abilities in actual teaching practice to improve teachers’ professional level. This research starts from practice of effective teaching, analyzes the possibility and characteristics of effective teaching to enhance teachers’ professional development, the internal logic relationship between them, and illustrates the process and performance of effective teaching in promoting teachers’ professional development. Finally, through interviews and classroom observation, the thesis finds out problems in the process of teacher’s professional development with effective teaching as its core, and tries to put forward corresponding measures. This thesis selects the Chongqing Banan Yudong No.2Primary School as the research base, with six teachers there as the research objects. Based on the illustration and analysis of effective teaching and teachers’professional development, the thesis takes teachers’engagement in effective teaching as the breakthrough point, discusses teachers’professional development based on the effective teaching and related issues through literature review, interviews, classroom observation and a series of research methods.The thesis mainly contains five parts:Part one, Introduction. This part introduces reasons for research, summarizes research goal and meaning, as well as the thought and methods of conducting this research.Part two, related concept definition and literature review. This part mainly clarifies research situation of effective teaching and teacher’s professional development, including a brief combing and integration of references about theoretical study of effective teaching and teacher’s professional development, as well as the relationship between the two. On the basis of literature review, this study defines core concepts of effective teaching and teachers’professional development.Part three, study on the relationship between effective teaching and teachers’ professional development. First of all, the possibility of effective teaching to promote teachers’professional development is explained, and on this basis, characteristics of teachers’professional development with effective teaching as the core, and the relation between the internal logic between the two are analyzed.Part four, researches on effective teaching in promoting teachers’professional development. Through cases of classroom teaching, the thesis conducts a brief analysis of effective teaching in promoting teachers’professional development process, puts forward the dimensions of effective teaching to promote teachers’professional development, and related interpretation are carried out.Part five, problems and countermeasures of teacher’s professional development based on the effective teaching. Through the analysis of existing problems in the process of teachers’ professional development with effective teaching as the core, the thesis explores ways to promote the teacher professional development based on effective teaching.
