Taking The Social Practice As The Carrier To Strengthen The College Students’ Socialist Core Value System Education

The Sixth Plenary Session of its Sixteenth Central Committee of ChineseCommunist Party put forward the major propositions of the construction of socialistcore value system for the first time. The communist party’s18th national congressmade a big request to strengthen the construction of socialist core value system, andclearly put forward actively cultivating and practicing the strategic goals of thesocialist core values. With the socialist core value system guiding social ideologicaltrend and embodying social consensus is a great realistic and theoretical issue.College students are national valuable human resources and intellectual reserves,which are for the construction of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristicsand the grand mission of the rejuvenation of Chinese nation. Educating collegestudents with the socialist core value system makes them better understanding thesocialist core values system. By using the spiritual connotation to guide their actionswill make contributions to the realization of the "Chinese dream".Currently, the complicated and changeable social environment made the impacton college students; therefore, the ideology of college students is needed to be guideby the socialist core value system education urgently. Social practice is an importantpart of educational system, and it has unique function that differs from schooleducation.The author choose "with the carrier of social practice to strengthen the educationof college students’ socialist core values system" as a subject for study, which isbeneficial to the improvement of college students’ socialist core values educationeffect, and to the strengthen university students’ identification of the socialist corevalue system, and to the improvement of college students’ overall ideological andpolitical quality.Firstly, this paper expounds the social practice carrier role theory basis from thetheory of ideological and political education carrier and value identity theory.Combined with the social practice’s experience, the permeability and the socialitycharacteristics, it is analyzed the function of social practice to strengthen collegestudents’ socialist core values’ education. And from the three aspects of collegestudents’"three outlooks" education, the state education and political consciousnesseducation, it pointed out the target of socialist core value system education. From these several aspects, it illustrated the inner mechanism of with the carrier of socialpractice to strengthen the college students’ socialist core value system education.Secondly, respectively from the military training, professional practice,"three tothe countryside" summer social practice, volunteer service and the theme of socialinvestigation, the five different types of social practice, explains the current situationof college students’ socialist core value system education in the social practice. Afterfully recognized achievements and systematical summarized experience, the authoranalyzes the main problems, namely, depth is not enough, pertinence is not strong, theeffect not beautiful. And from the aspects of the society, school and college students,systematically analyze the reason that influence the college students’ social practicecarrier playing a role in the education of socialist core value system.Finally, in view of the reality of problems which the current social practice of thecore value system education existed, it carried on the thorough discussion of how tostrengthen the function of social practice carrier, and how to strengthen collegestudents’ socialist core value system education effect. It puts forward threecountermeasures to enhance the pertinence of socialist core value system education,which is to improve the understanding of socialist core value system in social practice,and to sound establish the security mechanism of the social practice and to innovatetypes of social practice.
