Research On The Cultivation Of College Students' Socialist Core Values Based On Voluntary Service

Youth are the most vigorous and positive force in a society.They are the hope and future of the country and the nation.Their values influence the values of China.Youth is a critical period for the formation and establishment of values.General Secretary Xi hopes that the majority of young people will: temper their morality,strengthen their beliefs,actively spread,and exemplary practice of core socialist values.However,in this era of open development,various trends of thought are complicated,group thinking of college students is active,their minds are not very mature,and they are easily disturbed and influenced by wrong ideas and values.Therefore,the cultivation of the socialist core values of college students has a long way to go.Volunteer service with dedication,friendship,and mutual assistance as the core is a sign of social civilization and progress and a driving force for social development.More and more young people are participating in voluntary service,becoming the entry point for them to contact,enter and serve the society.Volunteer activities can be used as a practical carrier for the cultivation of socialist core values of college students with its vivid practical and educational functions,and promote the effectiveness of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.However,there are many shortcomings in practical work in this respect,and there are still areas that need to be improved in theoretical research.The article mainly adopts literature research method,questionnaire and case investigation method,induction method,etc.,to carry out theoretical and practical research on the cultivation of college students' socialist core values based on voluntary service as the carrier,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions for existing problems and deficiencies.There are five parts in this article.In the first part,on the basis of combing and analyzing the existing research results at home and abroad,the relevant concepts are defined,focusing on explaining the meaning and content of socialist core values and the cultivation of college students' socialist core values,and expounding the moral education and value education.Relations and differences,explain the meaning of volunteer service,the spirit of volunteerism and its connotation of the times;secondly,the relevant theories involved in this article are quoted,first of all the relevant expositions of the Marxist classic writers on the concept of practice,in addition to Tao Xingzhi's life moral education thought,Western moral education thought,service learning theory,etc.,and the Chinese Communist Party's emphasis on ideological and political Important ideas and related policies for education and practical activities.The second part is the main innovation of this article.First,analyze the current deficiencies in the cultivation of the socialist core values of college students.Then,start with the basic elements of promoting the formation of human values,analyze the mechanism of the formation of values,and propose voluntary service as a kind of "practical activity carrier" in human values.The shaping is of great significance and will help improve the current deficiencies in the value education of college students.The third part,through questionnaire surveys and case interviews,on the one hand,it is concluded from actual surveys that participating in voluntary activities does have a universally positive impact on the values of college students,including:stimulating patriotism,raising awareness of responsibility,cultivating professionalism,and improving Work ability,improve moral quality,strengthen ideals and beliefs;on the other hand,it also reveals the problems in the operation of current volunteer service carriers: the low penetration rate of volunteer activities does not meet the requirements for full coverage of value cultivation,and the lack of participation in volunteer activities Normality does not meet the requirements of normalization of value cultivation,voluntary activity safeguard measures need to be improved,and voluntary activity organizations have insufficient self-construction.The fourth part analyzes the main reasons for the problems of using volunteer service as the carrier of cultivating the values of college students from various aspects of college students,colleges,society and families.The fifth part,in order to overcome the shortcomings in the operation of the current voluntary service carrier,college students should improve their accomplishments and promote the unity of knowledge and action.Colleges and universities should stand firm in the main position of volunteering and educating people.The government should increase support and provide relevant guarantees.The society should pay more attention and create a good environment.Families should increase attention and create an atmosphere of nurturing.
