Analysis On Network Texts Applied In University’s Ideological And Political Education

The online ideological and political education in universities has flourished, since China officially made its connection to the Internet in1944. Internet has influenced the development of university’s ideological and political education, and also impacted the traditional form of this kind of education, which is a new opportunity as well as a new challenge we are faced with now. To strengthen and improve ideological and political education for university students, we can, from the new perspective of network texts, explore various text forms applied in the in the teaching practice, research on the features and functions from different types of network texts used in ideological and political education.The network texts is a conception of hyper text, more than words, numbers or characters, which includes multimedia information such as pictures, audios and videos. In order to serve the ideological and political education in universities better, we are supposed to summarize the distinctions in different multimedia information and the distinctions caused by various compound modes, and then analyze the advantages and disadvantages of them.At the beginning of the analysis, the definitions of network text and the network text applied in university’s ideological and political education are both given. According to different classification standards, the network texts applied in university’s ideological and political education are classified systematically to analyze the characteristics and discuss the functions more logically. Considering the governmental policy on university students’ ideological and political education, together with the domestic development of Internet, the analysis also studies over three processes of these network texts’ development:passive adaptation stage, active responding stage and well developing stage. It is not difficult to tell that the network text is a double-edged weapon, speculating from its practical application. In one hand, network texts have improved the efficiency, developed new forms of the ideological and political education, bringing much convenience to teachers and students. In the other hand, however, many problems still exist, such as the faultiness in management system and the separation from the traditional ideological and political education. In spite of these defects, ideological and political educators should realize this irresistible development trend and comply with the rapidly-developed information age. In addition, we need to have further research and find out feasible schemes in system administration, application mode, and development tendency to make sure the network application in university’s ideological and political education works well.It is critically essential to research on network texts applied in university’s ideological and political education, with the development of the internet and the ideological and political education, as well as the rapid increase of people’s dependence on the internet and affection for it. At the same time, it is significant in advocating new research models, exploring new research fields, making the network texts applied in ideological and political education more successfully.
