The Impacts Of World War Ⅱ On American Women

The World War Ⅱ is a turning point in the development of American history, it has produced important influences on all aspects of American society, women are no exception.After American women won the right to vote in1920. they were not improving at a cracking pace as once people expected. On the contrary, American women fell into slow development in the two decades influenced by social environment, especially the impact of economic crisis. Meanwhile, women movement sank into depression. Witli the outbreak of the World War Ⅱ, the emergency of war changed the traditional social atmosphere. As a result, the survival living conditions of women underwent major changes during the war.The World War Ⅱ occurred between the two feminism movement in American history, and it just in the blueprint stage of the second feminism movement.
