| The author, in the form of participant observation, carried out field research in the village of Yong xin. through three-month observation of left-behind elders in Yongxin village, as well as interview and questionnaire survey,the author conducted research and analysis the causes of life difficulties and coping strategies of those left-behind elders.Survey found that accelerating of aging speed of Chinese rural population,the traditional family pension mode difference, and left-behind elders legitimate rights and interests are the main reasons for the lack of protection. To cope with such phenomenon, certain actions should be taken, in short-term,medium-term and long-term planning,through strengthening the survival ability to adapt left-behind elders,rising the respect for the elderly pension propaganda education,improving the elderly rights and the regulations guarantee system,establishing old-age welfare,intensifying social assistance such as specific measures to better the life of left-behind elders. |
