Study On The Integration Of Daqing Spirit Into Ideological And Political Education In Universities

Colleges and universities bear the mission of educating of the young and guidingpublic opinions, which requires that universities should arm the people with scientifictheories, guide people with correct public opinion, inspire people with advanced examplesand educate the people with glorious traditions. Daqing Spirit is an essential composing partof Chinese national spirit. It has the rich connotation, coheres the traditional Chinese virtuesand demonstrates social public merits. Daqing Spirit meets the needs of Ideological andPolitical Education in universities, so it is necessary and feasible to make Daqing Spiritintegrated into it. Due to its incomparable historical value and significance of education,Daqing Spirit naturally becomes vivid teaching material of Ideological and PoliticalEducation in universities. Therefore it has the important practical significance to strengthenthe Ideological and Political Education in universities by integrating Daqing Spirit into suchan education.Daqing Spirit can help remedy and overcome the defects of those students who lackbeliefs. For the modern students in universities, Daqing Siprit has the applicable new erameaning. So it is required that the relationship between Daqing Spirit and the education ofmodern Ideological and Political Education in universities should be further studied and thatthe ways and methods of integrating Daqing Spirit into modern Ideological and PoliticalEducation in universities should be explored more deeply. And it is also significant to cultivate more and more builders andsuccessors of the socialist modernization. Therefore, an effective method of integratingDaqing Spirit into Ideological and Political Education in universities has to be found out inorder that Daqing Spirit can be applied to universities not only in Daqing but also in otheruniversities in China.
