Nowadays, mobile technology is developing rapidly with the general applicationof the handset equipments; and the mobile education is more and more populardepending on it. More and more vocational colleges take part in the mobile education,they take full use of the network and the mobile equipments to connect “mobile” and“education” closely, carry out colorful educational resources, while some problemslike the shortage of finance and the technology is not the latest take the vocationalcolleges who are of small scale and have long distance within the campus intodifficulties. Since the expensive and multi-functional mobile education solution is notsubstantial and practical,5vocational colleges including Beijing Polytechnicdeveloped the intercollegiate selective course program, in which developing aselective course platform based on mobile Web is the key to solve the problem.Meanwhile, it is necessary to develop the background management platform on PC inconvenience of the manual management.This thesis analyses the mobile education and mobile technology in our countryand abroad, as well as the main characteristics of each program and technology;compares the advantages and disadvantages; establishes the idea of mobile education,and designs a application system based on mobile Web with the characteristics ofselective course management, applying advanced mobile technology and softwaredevelopment technology together with successful solutions.Firstly, this thesis analyses the requirement, builds the system model, and designsthe system structure of3-layer B/S mode, which establishes each function model withthe students as the core user of the platform and the super administrator as themanagement core, and it takes ADO.NET technology for the operation of database.Secondly, the thesis introduces the design and realization of the selective courseplatform in detail, describes the realization of the mobile Web selective coursefunction, PC selective course function and the super-administrator model; it focuseson adopting Web Service technology to realize the database access function,supporting the remote database interconnection and resource sharing, which canaccomplish the course selection effectively. Thirdly, it introduces the Ajax whichrealizes the realtime check of the user name effectiveness that makes the user gets theresult without filling in all the information. The thesis describes the use of Sessionobject for the storage method of the user information and course information duringthe web page switching and accessing. Only if the established object is not destroyedor released, it can be stored in the webpage for use anytime. While the dialogue boxof prompt information is the realization of JavaScript function on this platform.Finally, it describes the innovation in the design and realization of some models in thismanagement system. The realization of the intercollegiate selective course platform based on mobileWeb breaks the constraint of course selection in front of the computer. The user canselect his course just with Internet connection, not considering the area and condition.The platform provides convenient operation for the students, and the development ofmanagement system maintains the security of the platform, separates the managementof the data from the platform application, and the teacher can input the scores throughPC and ensure the truthfulness of the scores. For the administrators of the colleges,the management is more convenient and concise. The research on this program alsoimproves the subject development and the teachers’ development.
