| Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) is a very direction of the development of urban transportation system, and is a key solution to the urban transportation problem. To facilitate the optimization of urban traffic operations, scheduling management, reduce congestion, the public transport business must be developed. The construction of intelligent transportation system can greatly improve the level of management and service of the bus company, raising efficiency of public transportation system, and is an important step of the development of urban public transport.According to a lot of papers and designs, based on GPS, ARM, Linux and GPRS technology, the thesis proposed a design and implementation of wireless transmission platform for intelligent transportation based on Linux.Linux-based wireless intelligent transportation terminal is an important part of the entire system, which responsible for data acquisition, data processing,controlling peripherals and wireless data communications implementation. This paper describes the intelligent bus system based Linux wireless terminal design and implementation, including key technology used in the system design, the overall design of the wireless transmission terminal, the hardware circuit design, software process design, system debugging and results presentation. Finally, this paper builded an intelligent transportation system networks and carried out the simulation and analysis of the network. The basic technologies in wireless intelligent transportation terminal includes: GPRS, Linux, ARM; The overall design proposed a terminal functional requirements; The hardware design give each module specific hardware design schematics, and the hardware selection, schematic design of the key problems are analyzed; In software design, the transplant of linux kernel and the production of root file system were introduced firstly, then application software design is analyzed, given the system design of the terminal software program flow maps and give a summary of software design; lastly, hardware and software co-debugging process a detailed description of the debugging process results and give the map display. At the end of this thesis, according to the actual situation of Changsha bus system, an intelligent transportation system network has been builded, and its performance simulation analysis and verification was finished.After completing the entire system, author modifed and optimized the system in the test. The wireless transmission system has achieved a vehicle POS machine data collection, wireless transmission, downloading the voice files and many other functions, and put into trial operation in Changsha city bus lines, the community responded well. |
