Abstract/Summary:
Based on the principles of infrared imaging system, a 3D infrared simulation framework is implemented with OSG rendering engine in this paper. It includes the geometric characteristics of the target and background model, the infrared radiation characteristics of the model, atmospheric radioactive transfer model, the detector photoelectric conversion model and the detector noise model. This system can generate the IR scene image varying with the target speed, weather and the location of observer.First, the article describes the framework of the infrared simulation system, and analyzes the simulation principle of each module in the framework; then introduces the OSG 3D rendering engine technology and describes the key technologies to achieve the infrared scene simulation system based on OSG in detail. At last, the paper introduces the infrared scene simulation work flow of the system, and the system of the real time and reliability is analyzed. The results of the study show that, under the condition of sacrifice system in real time, and the simulation result is credible.
