With the rapid development of information technology, in many universities the course website has been promoted gradually in the teaching works of various subjects. Mechanics of vibrations and waves is one of the compulsory subjects of engineering mechanics majors, and the introductory course for mastering the theory and the method of caculation of mechanical vibration analysis.In the view of this course nature,the author develops a course website for the convenience of the teaching and studying.After having done the demand and feasibility analysis for this course website,the author decides to use the techonology of PHP+MySQL to develop the course website.PHP+MySQL is an open-source technology, and can be used to do the development and lower the cost, so it is suitable to build the small and medium website.The author chooses Dreamweaver as the software for building the course website,and inserts PHP code into the HTML code which is generated by Dreamweaver to complete the dynamic website exploitation.This paper states the development of course website,introduces and compares some mainstream language for dynamic website development.This course website is divided into front module and background module, both of which are divided into some small modules.This paper is going to introduce the functions of every module,show the effects of different browsers and explain the core code of every module.This course website, of stable operation, easy maintenance and high security, can basically meet the equirements of the course in general, however, because of the change of the internet technology with each passing day and the limitation of the writer’s time and level of coding, there are many functions of the system needing improvement and perfection after the actual operation of the website.
