With the rapid development of China’s informational economic, information has become an important strategic resource for economic development and social development.More and more companies pay attention to the infonnation management of enteiprises. The equipment is an important component of productivity for a company. No matter consider the share of enterprise assets, or analysis the contents of management, the equipment occupies a very important position. However, only with more attention to the introduction of high-end equipments, the equipment management is still in the stage of manual management.It is not only with low work efficiency, but also difficult to make full use of equipments, which obstacles the development of the enterprise seriously. Along with the process of enterprise information, some enterprises begin to use the information system of equipment management, but most of domestic software remains in managing the static information of the equipments which are unable to achieve the dynamic management of equipment for the whole life cycle. So it is an inevitable trend to develop a set of comprehensive management system of equipment information.The information management system of enterprise device, which is based on advanced computer technology, communication technology and excellent device management idea, is a dynamic platform for device management. In this paper, a comprehensive management system of equipment information, which is with simple operation, friendly interface, stable performance, is designed using Visual C++6.0as the software platform by C/S system structure and using Microsoft SQL SERVER2000as the database.This paper introduces the research background of topic about the information management of enterprise equipment firstly, development status at home and abroad of the equipment management information system and put forward the necessity of this research according to the existing problems of equipment management. Next the paper explanted the total design goal of the system and analysis the main business flow and the function requirement of equipment management. The paper completed design of the whole system function module include the management of the system, dynamic classification, the management of equipment purchase, the management of equipment scrapping, the management of equipment archives, the management of equipment operation and the management of equipment spare parts. Then, the paper introduces the theory of the system development include the database design platform of Microsoft SQL SERVER2000, man-machine interface design platform of Visual C++6.0, the development pattern of C/S, the coding of equipment, the dynamic classification of equipment, the setting of the optimum maintenance cycle and the analysis on economic life of equipments.As well, we introduce the design and realization of database system and the technology of data information security. We discuss the design of tables and the realization of visiting database on Visual C++platform especially. The operation interface and simple operation of the system software is introduced, too. In the end, we have a System test and present the treatment method on some major abnormalities till the system is capable of stable operation to meet the function demand of equipment management.The information management system of enterprise devices in this paper gives an expression on two kinds of the device’s motion state-substance movement and valve movement. It makes dynamic management of enterprise equipments become true through helping managers predominate the device’s whole state. The management system can improve the efficiency of managers and equipment utilization and realize the effective allocation of manpower, material and other resources. It can improve the efficiency of enterprises. The idea of device management in this paper may play a certain role on the current development of theoretical knowledge of device management.
