| As the use of management software is getting more and more widely, the level ofthe enterprise informationization is getting higher and higher.In business,management software need approval process mostly.But the traditional workflowsystem is hard to adapt to the requirement changes.Once a small change to the processhappens,it may cause many chnges to the original system,consuming large amounts ofpeople,material and money and affecting the normal operation of the enterprise.With the development of the workflow engine technology, this kind of circumstance isimproved to change. The biggest advantage in the workflow technology is theseparation of the process logic and application logic.Changing the system processby modifying the parameters configuration of process model without changing thespecific function code.So it can achieve the unified supervision to the part or thewhole production and business operation,combing the people,information withapplied tools effectly and bringing the most effect into the system.This paper briefly introduces the development history of the workflow first, andcompares and analyzes the situation at home and abroad as well as the existingproblems.The basic concept of the workflow and workflow management system andthe basic elements and system structure of workflow management system areanalyzed.Then several current popular open-source workflow engine arecompared.Based on the analyst of the workflow engine of OSWorkflow andStruts,Ibatis, Spring,mainstream J2EE framework, the feasibility of using workflowis concluded.Then the OSWorkflow workflow engine is used in the OA to makingmodles,analyzing requirements,designing system and implementing systems.Thenetwork topology structure, system framework, table structure, XML configuration,code package structure and the user interface design is included in the application.Finally, an example is given to illustrate the workflow engine, such as diversemodes of use in mobile office applications. |
