Disaster mechanism simulation is the simulation for disasters andaccidents based on the scientific and effective theory. The theory which isoften called the model of disaster mechanism, is some experience modelformula which was obtained by the scholars at home or abroad through lots ofscientific experiments. Because of the too complicated formula which needshuge computation, Disaster simulation based on the mechanism model usuallysimulates through some of the graphic information with the relative slowspeed of response.In recent years, Virtual Reality technology (VR) is more and more widelyused in the design and realization of the platform of disaster simulation system,and some simulation platform based on Virtual Reality has been designed andimplemented by the scholars at home or abroad. Traditional disastersimulation platform based on Virtual Reality tends to focus on thethree-dimensional effect of disasters and accidents and make the simulationmore vivid and intuitive through research of the three-dimensional renderingtechnology of computer. However, under normal circumstances, thissimulation often has certain gap with scientific mechanism model. The paper, based on the study of those two simulations above, presents aprogram of the design and implementation of simulation system platform withreal-time intervention, which focus on the real-time intervention of disastersand accidents. The simulation platform in this paper is based on disastersmechanism model and Virtual Reality, uses object-oriented design patterns andmulti-threading technology which speed up the computation of mechanismmodel, simplifies the rendering model based on the theory of mechanism, andfinally implements the simulation platform with real-time intervention todisasters and accidents.The simulation results of platform which has been implemented showthat, the platform has a friendly visual interface which makes the real-timeintervention to disasters simulation very easy, and at the same time, thesimulation results of platform will change in real time follow the intervention.Therefore, the chemical safety education and disaster drills based on thisplatform become more vivid and effective.
