With2010being seen as a future period all walks of life to guide national education reform and development of a programmatic document-"Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020)," the official release, positive response to the major universities actively promote the reform of teaching college and made a timely manner and foster excellence in education reform and innovation engineers requirements. New requirements for higher education reform in the21st century, major colleges and universities in teaching facilities, teaching mode and so began the reform, especially teaching facilities. In this paper, Shandong University in electrical engineering in order to promote the reform of teaching mode for the shortcomings of their existing teaching equipment developed a new teaching equipment-based3D virtual reality and simulation systems ADPSS teaching experiment platform.Electrical engineering and automation professional teaching should focus on training applied talents, set up an experiment course is particularly important. Most of the current lab configuration is the actual physical device, although the physical device intuitive, experimental cognitive effect is obvious, however, such physical experiment platform also does not apply to the disadvantage of many new teaching model reform, such as the physical equipment is expensive, bulky, heavy investment, covering over; equipment complex, multi-operator, high maintenance costs; has some security risks, including due to improper operation can lead to equipment damage and the presence of security personnel hazards; limited experimental time, the students hands-on opportunity limited; expansion of the new pilot project is inconvenient; laboratory difficult opening, limiting students to explore passion and so on. This paper focuses on the practical problems presented practical solutions.The main topic for the design and development is inadequate electrical engineering undergraduate teaching laboratory equipment, proposes a power system with real-time digital simulation physics laboratory equipment instead of the initial solution. Taking into account the purpose of undergraduate teaching experiment is to emphasize "cognitive" and "practice" for students to build sensory awareness of electrical equipment and its operation, but now all digital simulation software and devices are based on planar schematic representation of the system and equipment, so the open question further propose practical solutions that use virtual reality technology to provide realistic digital simulation of physical appearance and equipment operating experience. In this scenario, based on the experimental platform we have developed a three-dimensional virtual reality-based teaching and ADPSS simulation system. This platform, Shandong University School of Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Teaching Preliminary experiments have been applied, and made a very good teaching effect. Based on the move, this experimental platform was named "2012Shandong University, teaching achievement prize."...
